Are you our next Harry?

There is nothing quite like the feeling of the satisfaction of a job well done, but when you get to fix the seemingly unfixable, alongside a trusting and friendly team, it makes telling the story at the end of week barbeque, with family and work colleagues, even more enjoyable.

Few people can honestly say they enjoy their work but ask any of the team here at Yarralee or Old Turee and they’ll tell you that the team work, coupled with the unique family environment are a big part of why they all stay working here with us.

Take Harry, he’s been our mechanic for the last 8 years, living with his young family and working on the beautiful 35,000 acres breeding and finishing properties, but now he’s moving on to his next adventure, I’m looking for the next Harry.

The work-life balance

Your working day

A typical day for the agricultural engineer will be varied and include running the workshop, servicing a range of excellent equipment and helping automate the bore pumps, to ensure everyone knows where we stand with our valuable water supply.

See the full job description below.

A way to balance life

The role also offers a real work life balance, amongst the Coolah Tops National Park. The location is a perfect environment for children to flourish and offers easy access to the stunning wine and cultural region of Mudgee.

A place for you to call home

Room for the whole family

With a nice four-bedroom home, there’s enough room for a family to feel comfortable and settled, whatever the season.

A boundless backyard

With the Yarralee property backing on to the Coolah Tops national park, it makes for one big back yard and everything that comes with it, horses, bush walking and space to re-connect with nature and be yourself.

A welcoming neighbourhood

Coolah is a friendly and supportive community, with a generous spirit, making it easy to stay. But when you do need to get away , Mudgee or Orange wine country is just a short trip away.

I am genuinely excited to offer this unique role to the right person.

This isn’t a 9-5 role, it’s a lifestyle, but you’ll know by now if this is for you, and chances are I will too.

So, if this role sounds like you and you have what it takes to carry on the hard work, drop me a letter, outlining why you’re the next Harry and why you think you’ll fit right in?
